Let's
Talk Art is a lecture series
that brings together artists and
the community for a collaborative
dialogue on the arts. Held monthly
at Ashawagh Hall, in historic Springs,
a featured artist presents a body
of work, often spanning a career
in the arts.
The
Working Artist Series brings together
professionals and working artists for seminars
on a wide range of practical issues from
Copyright and Contract Law and Estate and
Tax Law for Artists to Marketing and Gallery
Representation.

The AAEH Newsletter is
published monthly. It provides an invaluable
service to the creative community by keeping
members informed of current news, events, programs
and opportunities in the arts.
Networking Opportunities are
essential for artists, and we provide many
opportunites throughout the year at different venues
to encourage networking amongst fellow artists.
Scholarships
and Internships are awarded
by the AAEH each year to outstanding High School
students who will be continuing their arts education
at the undergraduate level.
Middle-School Workshops bring
professional artists to the local schools to
encourage students to explore the creative process
in various media.
Special Events and Opportunities are
provided throughout the year. Workshops, bus
trips to museums and galleries, social events,
and more, are organized as opportunities arise.
Artist Studio Tours are
held in the Summer and Fall of each year. These
anticipated events open the studios, homes and
gardens of East End Artists to art buyers and
art lovers through a self-guided tour.
The Studio Tours promote
the importance and diversity of our regional
artists.
An Artists Registry is
being established in our office for our members.
This valuable tool will assist collectors,
buyers and researchers and others in locating
artists on the East End. |
