I can only simply say that I have had a life long enjoyment of playing with colors. I remember early grade school art classes the most, but remember actively thinking about techniques while in high school in Brooklyn. I played a lot of “hooky” during those H.S. years, spent my lunch money on subway trains to Manhattan, where I would spend 8 to 10 hours hanging out in the library on 42nd street and all the various museums’ throughout the city. Although that was so long ago, I still enjoy playing, pushing paint on canvas. Maybe if I stopped playing around, I could quit my real job.
